Using the 38-mega pixel camera high resolution photographs can be obtained. Because our equipment is purpose built for inspection and surveying the forward facing camera has uninterrupted 180 degree vertical movement from 90 degrees down to 90 degree upward looking, meaning that it is possible to fly underneath structures to inspect the underside of objects. Ultra-sonic distance lock sensors mean that it is possible to survey along objects at a fixed offset. Rear, downward and side facing monitoring cameras provide the operator with a full field of vision whilst carrying out the survey. The speed of the results obtained does away with the high cost of fully scaffolding out a building or structure, highlighting the areas where further inspection may be necessary. It also improves safety by reducing the need for inspection by rope access methods. From these photographs 3D models can be generated from which accurate measurements can be taken.
